To lighten the overall feel of the kitchen we used DuraSupreme cabinetry in the Hudson door style, painted “White” for this perimeter. For the island, we used a classic cherry with a patina wood finish stained in color “Cappucino” with decorative square posts. This darker stain blended with the floors beautifully. The patina finish, along with the darker stain color, allow wear and tear to complement the new finish and/or can be extremely easy to touch up. Sub Zero appliance panels and a utility pantry with roll out drawers were a beautiful touch to help maximize and decorate by hiding the bulky items near the deeper wing wall. Below the rollout drawers is a smaller compartment with tray divider storage.
